Engineered for durability and reliability in any weather condition, our side steps (also called running boards) help protect the lower body from otherwise nasty damage.

The modern, slip-resistant, durable textured powder coat finish provides a heavy-duty aftermarket alternative to the manufacturer's standard side steps or running boards.

Side steps and rails carry a 3-year warranty from the date of retail sale, for the original buyer, when purchased new from IRONMAN 4x4 Africa or an authorised reseller. Two things void it: damage caused by incorrect fitting, and fitting the product together with components that are not genuine manufacturer or IRONMAN 4X4 parts. Are side steps worth it?

They make an easier and safer step in and out of the vehicle, and easier access to the roof, and they protect the lower body panels from stone and track damage.

Are these side steps universal?

No. At Ironman 4x4 we design vehicle-specific products for seamless integration. These side steps are designed specifically to suit the series listed under Fitment above. Use the MY BUILD feature to find the full range designed for your 4x4.

Can I install side steps myself?

Instructions are available for DIY installation, and we also have a national network of fitment centres with experienced, qualified fitters. Bear in mind that damage caused by incorrect fitting is not covered by warranty.

Are these side steps compliant?

Vehicles with side and curtain airbags have legal requirements for side steps to be airbag-compatible. Ironman 4x4 has gone through extensive airbag compatibility design and testing to meet those requirements.

Will they fit with a bull bar?

Yes. These steps are designed to pair with the IRONMAN 4X4 Deluxe Bull Bar range on the same vehicle for a consistent, factory-style look.
