Is the RAID Canopy the same as a Fibreglass Canopies?
No. The RAID is manufactured from 3mm aircraft-grade aluminium alloy; significantly stronger, lighter, and more durable than fibreglass. It won't crack under load or delaminate over time, and it carries a genuine 180kg dynamic, and 350kg static roof load rating.
Can I mount additional accessories / shelving inside the RAID Canopy?
Yes, the RAID Canopy features integrated M8 mounting points throughout the canopy make it easy to install shelving, storage systems, power solutions and accessories without drilling additional holes.
Can I fit a Rooftop Tent on the RAID Canopy?
Absolutely. The integrated roof rail system is rated to 180kg dynamic, and 350kg static, which is more than enough for a rooftop tent. It also accommodates awnings, solar panels, and jerry can holders without additional mounting hardware.

The RAID Canopy is fitted exclusively through IRONMAN 4x4 Africa's authorised fitment network across South Africa. This ensures a factory-quality installation and keeps your warranty intact.
Which double-cab bakkies do the RAID Canopies fit?

Can I add internal lighting, or a 12v socket inside the canopy?
Yes. The RAID Canopy features integrated cable routing channels specifically designed for 12V wiring. LED strips, 12V sockets, and USB charging ports can all be run cleanly through the canopy structure during installation.
