When it came to developing the suspension solution for the ESV, Thula Africa chose IRONMAN 4x4 Africa as its partner.
Not Off the Shelf
This wasn't a catalogue selection. Together, the two teams carefully engineered and specified the right Foam Cell Pro suspension components for a handcrafted platform carrying a substantial battery system, all while meeting the demanding ride, durability and handling requirements of African safari operations. Built to carry heavy, sustained loads over long distances, Foam Cell Pro was the natural fit for a vehicle that has to haul a large battery pack over rough bush terrain without fading. It meant real engineering, real collaboration and real-world testing, with every component chosen to hold up under the unique demands of the bush.
