Ironman 4×4 protection plates perfectly integrate to the design of your vehicle with carefully positioned venting and water dispersion holes. This protects the key components without compromising airflow and durability. Offroad driving exposes your vehicle to damage from various obstacles such as rocks, logs, bumps and scrapes, particularly prevalent in vehicles with low ride height or independent suspension. Underbody protection plates commonly rely upon offroad as a layer of armour underneath your 4×4. However, good design is crucial to ensure the plates are not too heavy and rigid which can actually contribute to severe damage to the structure of your vehicle in the event of a heavy impact. By using the latest CAD & FEA analysis software, Ironman 4×4 have engineered a solution which protects vulnerable underbody components by safely absorbing impact energy from heavy contact with a solid object. Ironman 4×4 plates are made from either 2.5mm pressed or 3mm folded steel construction. Pressed ribs and folded reinforcements provide significant strength without adding unnecessary weight to your vehicle.

The shocks, designed by Ironman 4×4 suspension engineers, have been individually made component by component to produce the world’s finest offroad shock absorber. Each and every Ironman shock absorber is force-velocity tested before packaging to ensure all parts received are uniform and within operating specification.
High-quality materials such as German Fuchs High temp shock absorber fluid, Japanese NOK multi-lip seals are used. Strength and durability requirements are sorted by the use of re-enforced single piece eye rings and stems. Rubber shock absorber bushes are used by Ironman, this is to promote maximum flexibility and reduction in unwanted side load and NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) transmission which often causes seal failures in other brand shock absorbers using Polyurethane.

All Ironman 4×4 coil springs are CNC Cold coiled to ensure perfect consistency and accuracy. The result of cold coiling means that springs are subjected to less heat during the manufacturing process to help maintain the materials properties and resulting in longer life.
Additional Notes: Vehicles with independent suspension must maintain a minimum of 60mm downward suspension travel.

Ironman 4×4 Add-a-Leaf is a simple, cost-effective addition to boost your existing leaf springs. Kit includes 2x tapered leafs with anti-friction inserts, M8 and M10 replacement center bolts and easy to follow instructions.
